Professional Activities for the Application Sector

Contract Research

The members of the Department of Social Work conducted an Analysis of the Clientele of Social Workers in the Municipalities of the Vysočina Region with an Emphasis on Long-Term "Perpetual" Clients, as part of contract research within the project "Application of Innovative Approaches in Social Protection and Prevention in the Vysočina Region", reg. no. CZ.03.2.63/0.0/0.0/15_007/0015546", funded from the OPZ and the state budget.

Analyses and surveys

As part of their bachelor theses, students carry out analyses and surveys based on the needs of entities from the application sector. At present, theses are being prepared in cooperation with the Civic Counselling Centre in Jihlava, the Regional Charity in Jihlava, the Psychiatric Hospital in Havlíčkův Brod, the Alzheimer Centre in Jihlava, and the Sasov Integration Centre.

Additional Activities

Academic staff and students participate in volunteer activities, for example, at the Hospital in Jihlava, the Alzheimer Centre in Jihlava, or the Regional Charity in Jihlava.
