KSP implemented in cooperation with the Jeřabina Pelhřimov Home, a contributory organization, in the period 2019-2021 the project New approaches, methods and technologies in the field of diagnosis and correction of hearing impairment in the elderly in residential social service facilities
The scope of the project was the introduction of new approaches, methods of social work and the use of technologies in the field of diagnosis and correction of hearing impairment in seniors - users of residential social services in the Vysočina Region with the aim of improving the quality of health and social care and quality of life of these people. The project will create and test a measuring apparatus based on a mobile application for basic screening of hearing defects in users of homes for the elderly, which will replace the existing unsystematic procedures. At the same time, the already existing cooperation between the VŠPJ and the application sphere (Vysočina Region and social service providers) will be deepened, which will enable the creation of a specific methodology of individual planning for elderly people with hearing impairment. The developed methodology will be subsequently implemented in all residential social service facilities in the Vysočina Region, where it will contribute to increasing the quality of the provided health and social care. The main impact of the whole project is to improve the communication skills and cognitive functions of seniors in residential social services facilities, thus increasing their quality of life.

KSP and KES VŠPJ implemented the Czech Republic counts on volunteering
The aim of the project was to create a unique tool in the form of a web and mobile application for calculating and interpreting the value of volunteering for both practitioners and individuals in the Czech environment. Thus, a new method of calculating the value of volunteering was created for the Czech environment, reflecting the current needs of the Czech environment, based on which a mobile and web application was created to enable simple calculation of this value. This application was placed on the newly created website, where it is available for free use or download. In addition, a comprehensive research report was created for further use by both non-profit organisations and public authorities. All outputs were presented to a thematic conference.
